What is the
difference between the ARTS editions (Web and Personal)?
The two editions provide the same functionality.
a. Web Edition:
The web edition supports physically dispersed teams using an internet
connection.
b. Personal Edition:
The database and the application reside on the same machine. It
is intended for a single user. The Personal Edition is
not suitable for multiple users working on the same project concurrently.
What are the
different licensing options?
There are two basic types of licensing options:
Dedicated and Floating Licenses.
A Dedicated license requires a key for each client license
(and personal edition license). The
license is transferable from one computer to another.
A Floating license does
not require a key for each client license. It is controlled by the number of
concurrent users.
What is the delivery method of the purchased
software?

Does ARTS 7.0 need a
database?
No. ARTS 7.0 comes with a built-in database.
What are the contents of
the package?
You will receive a fully licensed copy of ARTS 7.0, the installation manual, a quick
start guide, and a user guide. Example projects are
provided.
What is ARTS 7.0's upgrade policy?
Each licensed copy of ARTS 7.0 includes one year of
free upgrades and support. After one year, upgrades
and support may be purchased for an additional fee
equal to 15% of the total cost of ARTS 7.0.
